April Ross

April Ross was one of the few female beach volleyball stars who won medals at more than one Olympics. Alix klineman, who is taking part for the very first time at the Tokyo Olympics, will try to earn her third Olympic medal. Ross is also hoping to win her very first Olympic gold. Margie Ross wasn't able to see her daughter's rise to the beach volleyball spotlight. In 2001 when Ross was in her sophomore year studying at USC her mother passed away due to breast cancer. She continues to cherish her late parent. Margie has always been a source of inspiration for her both at and off the beaches.
